Pick A, B or C, from Group I, depending on which is most accurate. Then pick X,Y or Z from Group II.
You'll get a combo of 2 letters (e.g. AX, BX, etc.). Look at the chart at the bottom corner of the first page. If you're AX, your number is 7, if you're AY, your number is 8, etc. etc.
Then go to the second page and find your number.
If you have time, there are longer profiles here that are much better: [link]
(Just click on your number on the weird circle thing.)
This is me:
Type Four in Brief
Fours are self-aware, sensitive, and reserved. They are emotionally honest, creative, and personal, but can also be moody and self-conscious. Withholding themselves from others due to feeling vulnerable and defective, they can also feel disdainful and exempt from ordinary ways of living. They typically have problems with melancholy, self-indulgence, and self-pity. At their Best: inspired and highly creative, they are able to renew themselves and transform their experiences.
* Basic Fear: That they have no identity or personal significance
* Basic Desire: To find themselves and their significance (to create an
identity)
Key Motivations: Want to express themselves and their individuality, to create and surround themselves with beauty, to maintain certain moods and feelings, to withdraw to protect their self-image, to take care of emotional needs before attending to anything else, to attract a "rescuer."
It continues on to an overview of the personality type that is correct to a level of almost creepiness, yet informative and somewhat comforting. Knowing I'm not the only person like me, that others feel the same way I feel. In fact, the person I got these links from is a Type 4.
Some famous people who are also apparently Type 4:
Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morrisette, Paul Simon, Patrick Stewart, Martha Graham, Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Johnny Depp, Anne Rice, Edgar Allan Poe, Prince, Michael Jackson, Judy Garland.
